Dominik Englert

Economist Climate Analytics and Advisory Services, The World Bank

Dominik has turned his passion for fighting climate change into his profession. In his efforts to put a price on carbon emissions, he has worked as an economist for climate change at the World Bank in Washington, D.C., since 2015. On behalf of the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition, a partnership of global leaders from government, business and civil society, Dominik manages the CPLC’s engagement in international maritime transport. Prior to joining the World Bank, Dominik was a senior advisor at First Climate, a private climate change consultancy based in Zurich. Dominik holds three business and international affairs related master’s degrees from Sciences Po Paris, University of St. Gallen and the Community of European Management Schools.
