Sustainable Mobility for All

Sustainable Mobility for All (SuM4All) is a global multi stakeholder partnership that will support the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and the transformation of the transport sector. This umbrella initiative consists of four elements: a vision for sustainable mobility; metrics to measure progress towards this vision; a global program of actions and financing; and a global governance structure to steer the implementation of the first three components. The first major output of the initiative – the Global Mobility Report (GMR) was released in October 2017. The GMR is the first ever assessment of the global transport sector and the global progress made toward achieving sustainable mobility. SuM4All was first presented at the 2016 Climate Action Summit by the World Bank Group’s President, Mr. Jim Yong Kim, with the view that it would be developed over time, in partnership with the international community.
